First Post

BIRTHDAY FAIRIES


This mixed media canvas was created for a fairy loving friend, I wanted to paint three strong fairies, not fragile or delicate and used acrylics, gesso, flower petals, tissue and handmade papers.....and after  a lovely day in May at Alston Hall learning encaustic wax techniques my new favourite medium..... wax :)
