29 faces Day two
Don't look back ( wax crayon, pencil and watercolour)
Day two of the 29 faces challenge and it is an idea I had from my post yesterday. I used the photo of my daughter at the Tate gallery. It uses her reflected image.
I used really cheap wax crayons to scribble on the shadow silhouette then washed over the top in watercolour.
Wax Crayon are very good colors. I often use them, too. You have used them very skillfully. The Face are very beautiful and sensitive. This drawing looks like You :-)
So interesting with the 'shadow' in front of the girl, and what a beautiful girl. It adds a touch of the Magrittes which is so effective. Never thought of using wax crayons in that way with the watercolour. Makes me want to try it. A lovely artistic piece.
Very pretty. And an unusual technique for me to consider.
