  5. looking forward to seeing more of these! don't think I've heard of air drying clay before? I'm currently making a mermaid collage on a piece of wood which I rescued from Chrissy's skip last year.

  6. These look like they are going to be great when they are painted I can't wait to see them. I have often wondered how strong air drying clay is.when it is hardened.

    1. The brand I use is very strong when dry, it can be sanded with fine sandpaper easily. It needs to be well sealed when finished with acrylic medium and then is as good as real clay!

  11. Oh, I can wait to meet the sisters. I love your new look here at your blog, Morag. How were you able to create the tabs on top? I have tried to hire 4 different people to help me with this but no one ever calls me back :( Were you able to do it yourself?

  15. I've never worked with air dry clay, so it intrigues me. I mostly play with polymer clay. These mermaids look good, though. Hope you show the end result on another Wednesday, too.

Happy belated WOYWW from # 1.
