Long, long ago...well to be honest in April i think, I gave you a sneaky look at my little paperclay mosaic pieces.
Well I haven't got round to showing you what I actually did with them!
I know, I know... should have explained a little sooner, but better late than never.
They became these little 'croft house mosaics' all individual and unique.
Made from my hand cut paperclay tiles. I stamp, carve and paint each tile then fit them together like a little jigsaw.
Little beads and jewels are also set in the clay

And finally presented box framed and ready to find new homes.

ReplyDeleteI've made tiles from sculpey but never paperclay. These are really wonderful. Do you know of Rogene Manas? She makes amazing paperclay "paintings". Google her--wonderful art!

ReplyDeleteStunning little treasures. Pretty sure my best friend would have scooped up the one with the little rabbit on it! She has had a few unique pieces like these over the years! It just reminds me of her!! I love how these all turned out! Wonderful fun work! So unique!

Gorgeous! I make tiles like that for my mosaics, but I make them from polymer clay. Have to try paperclay next time. I love how you make little "paintings" out of them!
