Three friends |
Its day 17!! and time for some whimsy. I have been doing more arty faces recently and too be honest fancied a change and something more lighthearted!.
These three friends waiting, no idea what they are waiting for, perhaps a bus, I'll leave you to decide. Collaged onto watercolour board. I also used conte crayons and acrylic paint.
Linking to the 29 face challenge, 29 different faces in 29 days.
Nice to see a fun post this morning, it has made me smile. She looks a very refined lady, and is so lucky to have her two cat friends to accompany her to the bus stop - no, of course she is waiting in the garden for a taxi, much to refined to go on the bus. Probably on her way to John Lewis for a new dress, though I do like her present dress. I love a picture like this that tells me a story - great fun, thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou know, the faces of those two cats definitely have a whiff of Chagall in them, very human look to them!
This is so wonderful. Geougeos naivist paintig.
ReplyDeleteI smile the hole day, thank You :-)
Whimsy is good! I really like these bright clear colors, and especially the texture behind it all. We don't know what their story is, but if I were walking down the street and saw this scene, I would be intrigued, just as I am with this painting. Nice!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat it is to come here and see your faces challenge, this is delightful, I love the colors and whimsy, bravo again!

ReplyDeleteLove them! They certainly do look like their waiting for a bus, one that's late. So sweet!
