29 faces Day nine

Today it's another painting of my favourite model my daughter, She doesn't seem to mind sitting still for long periods, which is rather a blessing and so far isn't getting fed up with me asking to draw her!!
This time I have stylised her a little and made a Klimtesque style homage. I am a huge lover of Klimt.

I would have loved to spend time on all the intricate patterns in the background but as usual time is short!!

Linking up to 29 faces

  1. Looks fabulous. Love the detail in the background behind her. I wish I could get my daughter to sit still... =)

  2. I love your Klimtesque painting of your beautiful daughter.
And this keeps happening - I am working on a face with circles! but it's taking quite a long time to do because it's quite complicated, but another co-incidence.
I like the way you have surrounded her with circles, and even circles on her neckband. The circles make me think of cross-section pieces of trees, which adds an organic feel to the painting.

  3. There is wonderful patters in backround, very beautiful.
Lucky You: You have a model. It means very much, because it is much better paint with a model than without. And You have very beautiful model and You have painted her very well. You have got dear memory with this painting.
    Greetings to Your daughter :-)
