Nearly at the end of the 29 face challenge and today something different.
I had some handmade leaf paper which I bought and then hadn't got round to using.
I used it as a base for my collaged painting and then digitally put a filter over it to make it look like old parchment.

I've never seen leaf paper have so many leaves, the ones I have bought have been very scattered. It's lovely and I think the way you have used it is inspired wth the figure in the lower left. I enlarged it and she is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful serene scene you have created. Annette x

Wow this is really different, Morag. I like the subtle colors and the lovely figure and that you included leaves. I collect leaves from wherever I go in the world. I can be walking along and stop studiedly to pick one up. Not a good idea when in a crowd because there is no warning to the person in back of you. Many times I've narrowly been mowed down. My fault totally. One more day... well, I took on a 100 faces challenge so it's not over until it's over. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colour and the texture. I wouldn't know the first thing about using digital filters bit the effect is lovely.
ReplyDeletelovely texture, this feels very gentle and organic :)
ReplyDeleteOoooo, this makes me want to go to the forest and explore, photograph and draw in a very big way!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty. The pinks are so elegant and the texture seems just right...all the lines in the right place. It's so amazing when that happens.
