On my workdesk today is a sketch for the summer of color challenge.
Neocolor water soluble crayon |
My Meconopsis or blue poppy is drawn from a photograph I took recently at Dunvegan castle gardens.
I took loads of flower photographs in the hope they may inspire me for the SOC challenge which runs for six weeks. It follows a colour theme, this weeks colours being, Aqua, yellow and pink.

Love Skye, it is a paradise for nature lovers and has an abundance of colour everywhere. Dunvegan Castle has the most amazing views and a magnificent garden. Blue Poppys are so beautiful, i bought some on a Saturday, by Sunday they had been eaten by the slugs, each leaf and stem devoured i was gutted...
ReplyDeleteI do remember a lady called Daisy Budge having a lot of images of the beautiful seals for sale.
Love your drawing, the colours are beautiful and definitely a good resemblance from the picture :-) xxx
