What's going on on my desk today?
A very good question. A box of clay body parts, a collaged panel partially sanded, some black and white gesso and a small postcard of an eagle.
not a great deal to show really, apologies. ;)
so here to make up for my lack of work are a few of my recent photographs taken in the sunshine of the west coast of Scotland.
This is Invergarry. It would be hard not to take a good photo of this view. On a clear day you can see for miles.
Still snow on the highest mountains.
And below the road through Sligahan.
the large cone shaped mountain is called Marsco and it is part of the Red Cuillin mountain range.
Hope you enjoyed a quick tour of the west Highlands, promise to have more on my workdesk soon! :)

Not many people can say they have body parts on their work desk. I'm always happy to see beautiful pictures of Scotland. It's one of my favourite places.
ReplyDeleteYour canvas looks interesting. Please share when it's finished! Beautiful photos of Scotland too.

Hi Morag - that collage panel is going to be beautiful - do remember to show us, when it's finished. I love your photos, and can't wait til July, when we spend two heavenly weeks (5th or 6th time) 1/2 hour north of Ullapool - bliss! Have a great week, Chris # 47
ReplyDeleteLove your work and your fabulous photos!
ReplyDeleteIt looks from your desk as though there are going to be some interesting artworks from these starting points, and lots of mermaids. I look forward to seeing them. Your photos are so lovely, clear air and gorgeous colours. I have a feeling I have seen that lovely view from Invergarry, the kind of view that is not quickly forgotten.
ReplyDeleteOh I do like what I see of your work and will never be bored with it, reminds me of my mixed media days. But those photos are brilliant what a view and lovely country. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW
